Finding Your Passion

What is passion? According to Merriam-Webster, passion is a strong and barely controllable emotion.  When I began my journey with essential oils, I fell in love with the scents. Later, I experienced amazing results from the chemistry of the oils and my passion to know more took off like a wild fire. For example, I used peppermint for my headache, lavender for a burn I got while cooking, and oregano oil to keep me at my best during the winter months.  The more I studied; the more I wanted to know. This passion led me to the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. There was a hunger to know what natural tools I needed to be in the best of health not only for my family, but for me. All of this has brought me here! My desire is to share the natural tools necessary to empower others to do the same!  So what is your strong, barely controllable emotion leading you toward?

With that question in mind, I want you to do the following:

First, take a few deep breaths and clear your mind.

Then, close your eyes and allow words or images to come to you. What do you see/sense?

Last, see how your body responds to these words or images. Do you feel excited? Do you feel a sense of dread? Take a moment to feel. Then, open your eyes and jot down what you experienced.

Pay attention to how your body responds. That is your biggest clue.  On a subconscious level you already know what your passions are and what you feel you must pursue. Is it a new career? Applying for the new management position? Changing your way of eating? Joining the gym after putting it off? Putting your house up for sale and moving to a new location? Finding your passion will lead you to endless possibilities! I can’t wait to see where you will go!
